- Cell Phone Usage:
(1)Cell phones can only be used during non-class time (i.e. recess, after school) to contact family or for emergency purposes. School wifi cannot be used for the purpose of playing games. During class time (including morning quiet time and noon quiet time), assembly, or workshop, cell phones must be turned off.
(2)During class time or an assembly, if there is an emergency, you must notify and get permission from your homeroom or subject teacher, before you use your cell phone. While you are using your cell phone, the volume must be kept to a minimum, so that you do not disrupt others.
(3)Cell phones must be turned off during exam times (including tests, quizzes, midterms, and finals).
(4)Any pictures or videos may only be taken with the permission of the people photographed/filmed.
- School Consequences:
(1)The first offense:
Cell phone will be turned over to the teacher or the disciplinarian and the parents will be asked to come and retrieve the cell phone. If the cell phone is not claimed within the allotted time, it will no longer be the responsibility of the school. One hour of public service will be assigned to the student.
(2)The second offense:
Cell phone will be turned over to the teacher or the disciplinarian and the parents will be asked to come and retrieve the cell phone. If the cell phone is not claimed within the allotted time, it will no longer be the responsibility of the school. One hour of public service will be assigned to the student. In addition, a written warning will be given.
- Things to note when using cell phone:
