Carry out all manufacturing operations, working on various production lines, in order to manufacture different products.

Dates
  • Perform the duty assigned by the Production Foreman / Production Supervisor as per the Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Ensure that all verbal and written instructions are followed fully and that the production operations are being carried out exactly as per instructions.
  • Ensure that any deviations / issues faced are immediately brought to the attention of the production foreman or the production supervisor.

  • Quality of production operations carried out.
  • Satisfaction of foreman over labour productivity and work quality.

General Hygiene
  • Ensure washing and sanitization of hands before entering the production area.
  • Ensure that all PPEs like hair nets, gloves, etc. Are worn before starting the production lines.
  • Ensure that the production lines are completely clean and the floors are fully clean before closing down production at the end of the shift, so that the next shift receives a clean line to start production immediately.

Reports
  • Report any problems / issues in production lines immediately to the foreman so that he can take appropriate action.

5. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
  • The jobholder operates under close supervision of the foreman and reports to the latter in all critical issues.
  • The jobholder is expected to demonstrate high ability to learn and actually perform working on different production lines to support products manufacturing operations.

6. JOB CONTEXT:
Labour work requires sufficient amount of physical effort made to move and carry date boxes, sit or stand up for hours on production lines and use both hands to perform different duties like date sorting and packing boxes, etc. During peak season, production load can be very high and the shift timings could be extended to 12 hours, which could be tiring.
