Eligibility Criteria for Participation in Faculty BoardElections

Pursuant to Rule 9(2)(d) of the Faculty Board Rules, one continuing academic staff membershould be elected by and from the academic staff of the Department in accordance with Schedule 1 Procedures for Election, of the Faculty Rules provided that:

(1)Only members of the academic staff who are:

(a)full-time continuing;

(b)part-time continuing; or

(c)fixed term for three or more years with fractional appointment of 50% and above;

are eligible to participate in the election and to be elected.

Please note the proposer and seconder must be from the same Department as the nominee.

  • A photographfor circulation to voters – please attach as a jpeg file.
  • Each candidate is also entitled to appoint a Scrutineer to attend the candidate draw to determine the order in which candidates will appear on the ballot. Scrutineer forms are availablehere. The candidate draw will occur on Wednesday26 November 2014 between 1:00 – 2:00 pm in Building E11A.
