IS THE PAIN FROM YOUR AUTO ACCIDENT

REALLY STARTING TO RUIN YOUR LIFE?

Dear Friend,

Are you still in pain from your car accident? Don’t be a victim again! This insider’s report

finally reveals what you really need to know when you’ve been involved in an auto

accident

AUTO ACCIDENT VICTIMS, JUST LIKE YOU, ARE TAKEN

ADVANTAGE OF EVERYDAY!

Most auto accident victims are NOT told all of their rights and very often do not know all

the information they’re entitled to. This top-secret report is going to change all of that. Do

not even think of settling your case while you still have to take pain medication!

Doesn’t it make you so mad sometimes when you think of all the pain, suffering and

“hassle” you have to go through for an accident that wasn’t even your fault? All these new

aches and pains that you never use to have but are now part of your everyday life. It’s so

unfair isn’t it? After all, even though we call it a car “accident,” somebody else was

responsible for causing it and now your entire life has been disrupted.

Simple tasks like getting up and down from sitting, walking or even just standing for more

than a few minutes are now all irritating, pain-causing “events” that you have to play out

over and over throughout your normal day. Even getting out of bed in the morning is a

nightmare as the unforgiving pain that is now your constant companion immediately

greets you. And all you were doing was driving along, minding your own business and

then

“WHAM!” AND NOW YOUR LIFE MAY NEVER BE THE SAME!

What about the problems this is causing for you at your job? It doesn’t matter if you’re

someone who sits at a desk all day long, works on an assembly line or you’re a full-time

homemaker. To some degree, just about every aspect of HOW you do your job is now a

struggle ... isn’t it? You get sore from doing simple tasks that you never even thought

about before. You get tired quicker and irritated easier. Maybe you already know what I’m

talking about?

Your inability to sit comfortably for more than a few minutes at a time without having to

“wiggle around” to get into a new position you can “tolerate” for another 5-10 minutes

before the throbbing, aching and burning returns. Maybe you’re suffering with headaches

that you’ve never had before? Your neck and upper back get so stiff just after a short time

on the computer or reading. This “accident” has...

2

TURNED YOUR NORMAL DAY INTO A 24-HOUR LONG

TORTURE SESSION!

What about the toll it’s taking on your family and social life? Perhaps you’ve given up

going to the gym or playing a favorite sport? Maybe you’re finding it uncomfortable just to

lie down and sleep through the night because of the soreness and tenderness. What

about the kids? Maybe you’re having great difficulty taking care of younger children or just

playing with them the way you normally do because of the pain? Eating “take out” and

“drive through” a tot more because just the thought of all the effort cooking and “cleaning

up” will take is just too much? Some people become like a “prisoner” in their own home?

You can’t go out with friends or family because the pain won’t let you. Or, if you do try to

“push through” the pain and enjoy yourself, you end up paying for it later. Your normal life

has vanished all of a sudden and you want it back!

Of course, immediately after the accident

MOST PEOPLE ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH THE DAMAGE DONE TO

THEIR CAR THAN THEY ARE ABOUT THEIR OWN BODY!

After the initial impact and well ... SHOCK of what just happened to you, the average

person is focused, like a laser beam, on the damage done to their car. This is

understandable since the means we have for getting around town is crucial to our day-to-

day living.

We need to get to and from work, run errands at lunch, drive the kids to practice, go food

shopping ... it NEVER ends! And, how are you possibly going to do all that without your

car? Of course, the frustration is all multiplied because you are keenly aware that

THIS WHOLE PREDICAMENT YOU HAVE NOW BEEN PLACED

IN WAS NOT EVEN YOUR FAULT!

Then, your attention turns to your body and the possible injuries. Unfortunately, the

biggest mistake all auto accident victims make is that they don’t even get their injuries

evaluated by the correct specialist ... UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE!

What do I mean? Simple. When most auto injury victims finally come to the realization

that they are indeed hurt and may be in need of professional help, they head off to the

local hospital emergency room or their family doctor. BIG MISTAKE!

How can that be? Well, to put it plainly, as great as the doctors and staff are at the

hospital, they are NOT trained to detect the often complicated and in many cases,

HIDDEN injuries you may be suffering from. At the hospital, they are trained for one thing

and one thing ONLY

3

to make sure that you don’t have any broken bones or life-threatening injuries. This is

what they do. Unfortunately for you, this can start you down the path to a lifetime of

debilitating pain and injuries because

EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTORS ARE NOT TRAINED NOR DO THEY HAVE

THE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO DETECT YOUR SPECIAL TYPE OF

“SOFT”TISSUE INJURY!

Of course, the scenario at your family doctor’s office can be even worse! You see, most

doctors do NOT have the highly specialized training necessary to treat your type of injury

properly. So, they fall back on outdated treatments that end up making the problem worse

sometimes MUCH WORSE!

Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying here; none of this is intentional, but it’s the result of

good doctors not knowing their limitations. The end result, however, is YOU could get

hurt, sometimes permanently, by their lack of knowledge on how to properly diagnose and

treat your auto injuries.

See, once the doctor has determined that you don’t have any bones [“hard’ tissue”] that

are broken or any other life-threatening injuries, they’re just going to give you some

muscle relaxers, pain killers and maybe a supply of sleeping pills and send you on your

way home.

HERE’S WHERE THE “INSANITY” STARTS!

If your in pain and the doctors can’t find out “why,” then they resort to “covering up” the

problem with medications because that is what their training tells them. Let me give you

an example. At the hospital or urgent care center, you’ll have x-rays taken. Probably a

“whole bunch” of x-rays taken! And, in more than 99.9% of the cases, the doctor will find

out that there are no broken bones, no concussion or anything like that. Great, but x-rays

can NOT detect the presence of your worst enemy ... “SOFT” TISSUE INJURIES. While

a great diagnostic tool, x-rays do not tell you anything about damage to your muscles,

ligaments or tendons!

See, what most accident victims don’t understand is that if these soft-tissue injuries are

not treated correctly at the beginning, you could very easily end up suffering needlessly

for the rest of your life!

EVEN A MINOR “FENDER BENDER” CAN CAUSE YOU A LIFETIME OF

PERMANENT PAIN AND DEBILITATING ARTHRITIS!

It’s crucial that you get all your injuries evaluated correctly by a properly trained doctor

that treats ONLY these types of injuries ... all day long! Being evaluated by a physician or

even a team of doctors that only treat these very difficult injuries “once in a while” is not

nearly good enough. If you were having a baby, would you want to go to a doctor who

4

only performs deliveries every so often or would you want a doctor that specializes in it?

Don’t you think your health is at least that important?

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HAVING YOUR HEALTH!

Don’t you agree?

During the first few days after the accident, while you’re “doped up” on pain pills and other

medications, whether over-the-counter or prescription, you’ll probably get a “friendly” calf

from the insurance adjuster representing the driver who hit you. Make no mistake; there’s

nothing “friendly” about these people! They are ruthless professionals whose ONLY goal

is to get you to “settle” your case while you’re still under the “pain-numbing” influence of

the drugs. This is a very dangerous time for you and your future health!

In fact, some adjusters will even be so underhanded as to record the actual phone

conversation and continually try and get you to state that you’re NOT in any pain at the

moment. Later, they’ll use your own words as evidence that you were not really injured in

the accident! BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU SAY AND “WHOM” YOU SAY IT TO!

Now let me tell you about one of the worst possible scenarios any auto accident victim

can face

YOU MAY BE VERY SERIOUSLY INJURED AND NOT EVEN BE

AWARE OF IT RIGHT NOW!

Did you catch that? Very often, we see auto accident victims show up in our clinic weeks

or even months later when the FULL extent of their injuries is only just starting to appear.

Hidden injuries from auto accidents can take many weeks, months or even years to

FULLY surface.~ It happens all the time!

Don’t be stuck paying thousands of dollars in medical expenses by settling your case

before you have been thoroughly checked out by a doctor who specializes ONLY in these

types of injuries and is trained to detect any “hidden” injuries that may take time to show

themselves. You owe it to yourself.

Now, of course, your family doctor is a competent physician. However, your primary care

physician or even a highly skilled specialist like an orthopedist or neurologist does NOT

have the proper training or equipment necessary to diagnose the unique type of injuries

auto accident victims suffer. These collisions can cause serious underlying muscle and

ligament damage that family doctors and even specialists just have no idea how to handle

correctly.

Remember, the orthopedist, even the one you may have been referred to for a “follow-up”

visit by the hospital, is a surgeon. Surgeons do one thing…

5

they operate. That’s what all their training focuses on. To them, everybody is a potential

surgical candidate and if you’re not careful, you could be “under their knife” ... probably

needlessly!

You may have also been told to go visit a neurologist for diagnosis of your injuries. While

wonderful doctors, neurologists mainly specialize in the performance of specific “testing”

that is unlikely to be helpful to auto accident victims like you. Since you’re basically at the

mercy of whatever these doctors decide is best; you’ll just end up getting another

prescription for drugs. This isn’t helping you actually “recover” from your injuries at all!

WHILE YOUR DOCTOR KEEPS PRESCRIBING “PAIN PILLS,” YOURREAL

INJURIES KEEP GETTING WORSE.~ MAYBE PERMANENTLY!

Again, the purpose of medications is to “cover up” your pain. They do NOTHING to

actually help you heal and recover from the injury. Plus, and here’s where your health is

in the biggest danger ... if you’re all “doped up” and aren’t even aware of the pain you

have, you’re going to go about continuing to do your normal daily activities. And you know

what, just because you can’t “feel” the pain because of these “wonderful” drugs you’re on,

that doesn’t mean you’re NOT doing more and more damage to yourself. This is exactly

how even a “minor” injury can spiral out of control. We see it all the time. Let’s face it

folks, we’ve got such “powerful” drugs today that can “block” your own brain’s perception

of pain in your body [that’s how these medications work!] that you could literally…

RUN A MARATHON ON A BROKEN ANKLE!

Yes, that is a very “graphic” description but I want to grab your attention because this is a

very important point that you cannot afford to miss. Just because you may not be feeling

pain because of the medications you’re on, that does not mean that you are “healed” and

it certainly does not mean anything as far as your “real”, underlying injuries actually

getting better! Drugs “cover up” pain, they do not “heal” your injuries ... period!

And, at some point, maybe very quickly or maybe months down the road when you’ve

already swallowed a truckload of medications, you and your doctor realize that something

else must be done. So, you’re referred to a physical therapist. This is nuts!

If you’re in pain, especially if you’re still taking medication, the last thing you should be

doing is exercising those injured muscles. Just think for a second. If you had a sprained

ankle that hurt so badly that you were taking medicine just to be able to tolerate walking

on it; do you think it would be wise to follow a doctor’s recommendation to go jogging to

help it get better? Of course not!

Sometimes, we simply throw our good, “common sense” out the door when we step into

the doctor’s office because we have all grown up being taught NOT to question their

authority and we feel intimidated to a certain extent ... don’t we?

6

NOW THINGS CAN REALLY GO FROM BAD TO WORSE

QUICKLY!

Here’s the thing; it’s NOT exercising the damaged joints and muscles that’s BAD, it’s the

“timing” of when it’s being done. You NEVER ever want to be exercising an injured

muscle while you’re still having pain. You’re just making things worse. There is a time and

place for everything.

You can have a physical therapist helping you perform the best possible exercises BUT, if

your body is not yet “healed” to the point where it can “handle” it, you’re just going to end

up doing MORE damage. We rescue this type of patient every day!

“YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT!”

These are the words that all too often “roll off’ the tongue of your doctor as they

pronounce sentence on you. What they’re really saying is “this is what you’ll die with”

right? They’re saying, there’s nothing more we can do and we’ve tried everything [even

though they haven’t!] and so, you’ll just have to put up with it ... forever. All this, and you

were just driving along minding your own business. PLEASE don’t let this happen to you!

Oh yeah, and that “friendly” claims adjuster from the insurance company will be calling

you again. Basically, they know you’ve been released from care and now they want to put

the pressure on as far as you settling the case because your own doctor said that there

was nothing more that could are done!

Now, they may even bring up the fact that some of your injuries were pre-existing. They

love to say that. In my opinion, the insurance company better pray you don’t have any

pre-existing conditions that the accident has made worse! As a matter of fact, if you do

have any pre-existing problems, especially something you were receiving care for or even

worse, had surgery to an area now re- injured by their driver’s carelessness, you’re

definitely more likely to be injured to a much greater extent. THIS IS BAD NEWS FOR

THEM!

This could even be a reason why a “low” speed accident could be very damaging to you

and not to somebody else! Along those same lines, let me just say that because of the

way cars are built these days, ALL passengers can very easily be seriously injured, even

at speeds below 7 m.p.h. Why?

It’s the way the cars are built these days ... dent-resistant bumpers and doors with

lightweight, plastic construction with all these “non-absorption” impact features. You see

that in the “old” days when cars were built primarily with heavy steel, the ~ absorbed the

“impact” of the crash. Today, all that force generated between the collision of two [or
