Secret Sanctuary (outline)
Hook:Locked away in the beauty of Glacier National Park is a secret sanctuary that cannot be reached by car.
Introduction ideas:Mystery? Wonder? How can it be reached? Is there a best time?
What will we see there?
Travel brochure approach, make it an invitation.
Thesis:Come with me to discover a pristine world where wildlife are comfortable with
themselves, their habitat, and the humans who make the trek to see the picturesque mystery of well-hidden Avalanche Lake.
Thesis question:In what ways are thee animals are comfortable with themselves, their habitat, and the people who hike to Avalanche Lake? How do we get to this hidden place? Why/how is it hidden?
Transition and topic sentence for first body paragraph:
As we begin the easy walk along a well-traveled path, you may be thinking that this is too effortless because the trail is so flat; further, you may be wondering why it would be so hiddenon such an effortless walk.
Topic sentence question: If the path is well-worn, doesn't that suggest that it is not, in fact, hidden? If it is effortless, why wouldn't more people go there?
