Dear All Learn to Swim Members

RE Temporary Closure of Teaching Pool Blackshots

Impulse Leisure were notified on Tuesday 18th April that the teaching pool will be closed as of Monday 24th April for approximately 3 months for refurbishment to the teaching pool plant room (the refurshment won’t affect the main pool).

Impulse Leisure have been very accommodating and given us time to continue to support all areas of our swimming program. However, changes are required to the training schedules for all swimmers who swim in the teaching pool. Please read this document and if there are any remaining questions please email Paul Hayes (Head of Swim School, ) and Paul Robbins (Head Coach, ).

The main change is to stages 1, 2 & 3 on Friday evening - these swimmers will swim at Belhus Leisure Centre, Belhus Park Golf and Country Club, Belhus Park, South Ockendon, Essex, RM15 4PX. Details of individual classes are attached and will be handed out on Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd April. All options have been explored and this is the only option available to us. The new classes will be implemented as of Friday 28th and Sunday 30th April. Please see a summary of the training times below.

Friday evenings Stage 1, 2 & 3. Will swim at Belhss Swimming Pool

Friday evenings Stage 4 & 5 will swim at Blackshots Swimming Pool in the Pit

Adults will swim in the pit area at Blackshots / Adults / 20:30-21:30
SUNDAYS
Sunday afternoon. Will swim at Blackshots

The two appendcies attached to this letter gives individual names, times and classes for each swimmer. This is only a temporary measure and it is anticipated we will revert back to our original program in July 2017.
