INVITATION TO BID

The University of the Philippines Manila-Institute of Human Genetics, through its Bids and Awards Committee II (BAC II), invites interested entities to bid for the hereunder contract:

Name of Contract: SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF LABORATORY

FURNITURES @ Molecular Genetics Laboratory

Location : Institute of Human Genetics, National Institutes of Health,

UP Manila

Brief description : Supply and installation of laboratory furniture in accordance with the scope of works and specifications for the contract, including provision of equipment, tools, transportation, labor and supervision.

Approved Budget (ABC): Three Million Five Hundred Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred

Thirteen Pesos and Forty Four Centavos (P3,514,513.44)

Fund Source : Fund No. 439-184-142

Contract Duration: Forty five (45) calendar days

Prospective bidders should possess licenses/permits applicable to the contract, have completed/ongoing similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC 2 will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. All bids shall be evaluated using the criteria set by UP Manila.

All particulars relative to the bidding process (from eligibility check up to the award of the contract) and implementation of the project shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Regulations (IRR) and applicable Annexes.
