American History Journals
You will keep a notebook of journal entries for this course. You will be asked to have 8 journal entries by the end of the semester. Journal entries should be at least one page in length, type written in times new roman 12 pt. font double-spaced. Journal entries may be written in first person as if you are actually living in the time period of which you are writing, or you may write as a time traveler interviewing interesting people along the way.
Journals will be scored in the following manner.
In order to receive full credit journal entries must meet the following criteria.
- Journals shall be the appropriate length.
- Journals shall contain at least 3 historically accurate facts.
- Journals shall be grammatically correct.
