Creative Project Manager

Summary

This person has two essential functions: project manager and marketing manager. This person will be the front door and liaison of the Creative Team with the church, working with staff and volunteers to coordinate all communication needs in the life of the church. Tasks include gathering information and assets, scheduling dates, and assigning member(s) of the team to work on the project. Once projects are in motion this person will work with the Creative Team members to ensure all projects run smoothly and on time.

Essential Functions

  1. Handles initial inquiries and gathers information and assets from the requesting party
  2. Project management point person of all Creative Team projects, including daily oversight of the Communications Request tool
  3. Assists requesting party with creating a record in Communication Request, including all production deadlines and final publishing date
  4. Assigns to team member(s) for development and production
  5. During project production, assists creative specialist(s) as needed with administrative support
  6. Proof reads materials pre-publication
  7. Assists with publication and distribution of final print materials, including bulletins and cards as necessary
  8. Updates and maintains marketing dates and pub channels on creative calendar for all ministries of the church, according to Style Guide.
  9. Maintains long-term marketing calendar.
  10. Submits monthly expense reports, as needed
  11. Prepares monthly list of marketing dates for operations and keeps intranet calendar updated

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

This would require the ability to move equipment from one location to another and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt hourly part-time position at 30 hours per week. This position requires work during a combination of workdays during the week to be determined.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and/or Marketing preferred.
