These are the Announcements for Wednesday, October 5, 2016

1.  Juniors, the PSAT exam will be given Weds. Oct. 19th. See Mrs. Stephens in room 139 to register. The cost is $15 and is due when you register. Testing seats are limited, so don’t delay. See Ms. Loftin if you have any questions.

2.  Students, theregistration deadlinefor the November 5th SAT test date is October 7th.

3.  Seniors, yearbook portraits will be taken on Oct. 17th. They will be cap and gown photos this year. If you would like to purchase proofs, bring $10 with you. Prestige will also offer the optionaltux/drape photos for an additional $5 if you would like them. You are not required to purchase proofs, but everyone will take a cap and gown photo for the yearbook. Please see Mrs. Vining in room 101 if you have questions.

4.  Juniors and seniors, October 28, 2016, is Fine Arts Preview Day at Angelina College. For more information, see Ms. Loftin.

5.  Students, National Buy Your Yearbook Day is October 20th. All students who purchase a yearbook by that date will be entered into a drawing for gift cards to local businesses. See a yearbook staffer for an order form soon so you can be in the drawing!

6.  The class of 2017 is selling T-shirts! They are $12 for sizes small through XL and $14 for 2XL and 3XL. You may pick up an order form with Mrs. Jacobson in the JHS Office. The order forms and money are due by Oct. 7th.

7.  If you want to order a Pink Out T-Shirt, you may pick up an order form with Mrs. Jacobson in the office. This Friday, Oct. 7th is the last day to order a shirt. The “Pink Out” Game will be Friday, October the 21st.

8.  STUDENTS, REMEMBER THAT LUNCH FORM APPLICATIONS WERE DUE THIS PAST FRIDAY. AS OF MONDAY, OCT 3RD, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FULL PRICE IF YOU HAVE NOT TURNED IN YOUR LUNCH FORM. IF YOU NEED A LUNCH FORM APPLICATION, REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE IN THE OFFICE. YOU CAN STILL TURN THE APPLICATIONS INTO THE CAFETERIA.

9.  This Friday, October 7th, JHS will be taking it back "Old School" with an 80's cafeteria Pep Rally.All students and staff are encouraged to wear their bestTHROW-BACKattire to school that dayto participate! All modesty rules apply.

10.  Students if you are needing to enter the building before school starts in the morning, be sure that you have a Library Pass. You may get one from Mrs. Pollard in the library.

11.  Congratulations to the following choir students for making the All-Region Choir this past Saturday and advancing to the Pre-Area audition in November.
