Re:Panther180 – Online Faculty Activity Reporting Process

Project Summary

Panther180is a comprehensive systems solutions that will record and publicize faculty achievements.It will provide faculty with a centralized location to record activities in teaching, research, creative works, scholarship service, and awards, and will be used for several evaluation and reporting processes.

Updates

  • Representatives from the various colleges serve on the implementation team, and guide the direction of the project and provide input with regard to college policies and procedures.
  • We have completed the initial CV collection and transformation phases and all CVs that were uploaded to the SharePoint site have been loaded into the system.
  • We will be communicating with faculty in the next few weeks regarding confirming and updating their personal information.
  • Units should continue their current evaluation processes for AY2014-2015.
  • We are currently in the process of testing a standard assignment template for use with 2015-2016 faculty assignments. Chairs will be able to attach their existing assignment templates with more detailed information as needed.
  • We will continue to review unit/department evaluation templates for full implementation of the Annual Evaluation process and similar review processes by Spring 2016.
  • Training and online resources will be available to faculty once the system opens.
  • We are looking for several volunteers from this group to be on an implementation taskforce.
