THE BROADWAY’S CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA!
From gorgeous gift ideas to got-to-have gadgets and divine décor to show-stopping styles, The Broadway should be your one-stop-shop this Christmas! And with enchanting events, plenty of in-store promotions and cracking Christmas giveaways, it’s the place to be for some extra sparkle this season.
On Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November, the shopping centre will be hosting its Christmas Extravaganza event! In association with Radio Plymouth, The Broadway Christmas lights will be switched on in an afternoon of festive fun and sparkle that will last from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. There will be live musical performances from local groups, competitions with the chance to win fantastic prizes and the evening will culminate with the official lights switch on at 6.30pm by some very special guests!
On Saturday 21st November, bring your little ones to The Broadway for their chance to meet Santa Claus and get a gift! Entry is a £2 donation to the centre’s nominated Charity of the Year; St Luke’s Hospice. Santa will be in residence from 10am to 3pm on the day.
There will also be a Christmas Craft Market on the Saturday. This is a great opportunity to buy some Christmas crafts and yuletide goodies from local suppliers and businesses. Perfect as gifts for friends and family… or to treat yourself!
Various stores from the centre will be offering shoppers mince pies, mulled wine and sweets on both days.
Deborah Potter, The Broadway’s Centre Manager, says: “The Lights Switch On event was a huge success last year and we hope to see as many people attend this year’s event. We’re looking forward to our Christmas Extravaganza and hope local residents will enjoy all the festivities we have planned.”
