This presentation also gives teachers suggestions to try in their classrooms to help their students learn to love reading because students who love to read become proficient readers. As a leader in the school it is important that the SLMS share her expertise with the staff in order to help create the best learning environment possible. It is also the responsibility of the SLMS to partner with classroom teachers to improve instruction. (AASL 1.2, 1.3, 2.2)
