9:00 to 10:00 Mathematics- Begin chapter on multiplication 185 through 189, AM I Ready, vocab words, 193 and 194, introduction to equal groups and repeated addition, flash cards (multiplication)

10:00 to 10:40- Reading/Spelling- reading textbook 354 and 355, sequence, 356 and 357 vocab power, writing prompt on 357, teacher reads story aloud “Ramona Forever”. Partner read story afterwards, introduce spelling list wb pages 53 and 54 together in spelling (RL 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.7, W 3.10, RL 3.10, SL 3.1)

10:40 to 11:20- PE/music, we are letter B, check doors as you walk the students down to either the music room or gym

11:20 to 12:20- continue morning work, adding in a vocab/comprehension activity to assign and then go over...go over vocab words first and questions, practice highlighting question answers…

12:20 to 1:00- lunch, walk students to cafeteria, salads take tickets from ledge

1:00 to 1:30- Math RTI- common core daily math problems in daily folder, MARS problems, assign and then go over together…

1:30 to 2:15- Writing and Language Arts- new daily language arts activities (common core) in daily folders, writing prompts, textbook 122, 123 calendar words

2:15 to 2:45- Social Studies/Science- Begin Scholastic magazine….read/discuss together

Tuesday

8:30 to 9:00- morning work in daily folder, do attendance and lunch count

9:00 to 10:00 Mathematics- textbook 195 and 196 do together, assign 197 and 198, collect for a grade

10:00 to 10:40- Reading/Spelling- reading workbook 356 and 357 vocab power, teacher reads story aloud “Ramona Forever”, discuss comprehension questions, writing prompt, partner read, spelling-review list and partner practice quizzing each other over the list for our pre-test tomorrow, wb page 55, reading web pages 65 and 66 (RL 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.7, W 3.10, RL 3.10, SL 3.1)

10:00 to 10:40- Reading/Spelling- reading textbook 357 and 358 vocab power, teacher reads aloud “Ramona Forever” and discusses questions, partner read, workbook page 67 together, review spelling list, partner study time, quizzing each other, pre-test over spelling words, workbook page 68 in reading workbook to practice first 15 words… (RL 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.7, W 3.10, RL 3.10, SL 3.1)
