Campers need to be at Trace Creek Monday, June 6, no later than 6:45a.m. We will leave the church at 7:00 am sharp! For additional information you may call the church office at 658-3304 or send e-mail to

CAMP COST Camp is $120.00 per person (make checks to Trace Creek Baptist Church), which includes all meals, lodging, insurance and recreation. Price does not include snack shop.

WHAT TO BRING: Bedroll or sleeping bag, extra blanket, pillow, towels and washcloths, soap,

personal items, sports clothes for activities, nice slacks or jeans (boys) , dresses, skirts or Capri pants (girls),Bible, pen, notebook, and swimming gear.

WHAT NOT TO BRING: Bad Attitude, radios, Ipods, CD players, laptops, firecrackers, TVs, other

noise makers, shorts-above the knee , halter tops, two piece bathing suits,

video pocket games, magazines, sling-shots, any form of tobacco, any form of

non-prescribed drugs, flashlights, laser lights, shaving cream,

water balloons, water guns.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1. Dress code will be followed. Always dress appropriately for worship. Our dress code for camp is as follows:

A. Girls MUST wear a dress or nice jeans and shirt during worship services and boys MUST wear nice jeans or slacks and shirt to services.

B. No distasteful or suggestive slogan shirts by boys or girls will be acceptable.

C. Sports outfits for boys and girls will be allowed during activities other than worship services.

D. SHORTS (above the knees), SPAGHETTI TOPS, BIKINIS, HALTERS (including shirts with sleeves cut off), CUT-OFF SHIRTS OR BLOUSES willNOTbe tolerated at camp. Any swimsuit that is felt to be unchristian in appearance will be disallowed. Final decision will come from the Director.

2. No two-piece bathing suits for girls. If that’s all you have, you must wear a pull over shirt that covers top and bottom.

3. Anyone who absolutely refuses to do what the chaperones ask of him or her will be sent to the Director. If she or he continues to be rebellious they will be sent home.

4. Everyone will participate in all sports activities unless excused by the Director.

5. ABSOLUTELY NO UN-GODLY TALK WILL BE PERMITTED!

6. We should always respect the property of others. Do not put anything (shaving cream, cologne, cleaning products, etc.) in or on anything (clothes, shoes, sleeping bag, sheets, etc.) belonging to a counselor or another camper.

7. Those not old enough to shave have noreason to bring shaving cream to camp.

8. Any visitors who plan to come to camp should contact the church office in advance to ensure meals are available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate overnight guests.

9. There will be two snack shops each day. Snack shop money should be kept with camper (not in luggage) on the trip to camp. All snack shop money will be collected at the beginning of camp. All money MUST be turned in to the snack shop by the end of the day on MONDAY. It is suggested that you turn all money in. YOU AND YOU ALONE will be responsible for what happens to your money if you choose not to turn it in. All snack shop items are priced at .50.

10. The CampDirector reserves the right to send home any camper that consistently reacts negatively to the policies and/or atmosphere of Youth Camp. There will be NO radios, tape players, pagers, laptops, magazines, TV’s, pocket games, water guns, water balloons, firecrackers or other noisemakers allowed at all at camp.

11. Campers may use the King James, New King James or New American Standard version of the Bible in doing memory verses.

12. No one should leave their cabin after “Good Night Campers” call for any reason, other than extreme emergency. Cabin Counselor should be consulted before leaving. Violation for disregarding will be loss of points for each team involved or exclusion from next year’s camp.

13. If a child must leave camp early for any reason (i.e. school, or work) arrangements and notification need to be made prior to camp.
