LOCATION:University ofNew MexicoSeidlerNatatorium, Johnson Center
DIRECTIONS:The Seidler Natatoriumis locatedonthe northside ofJohnson Center(on thesouthernend of UNM’s maincampus), just off ofCentral Ave. Exit off I-25, just south oftheBig-I,at Central Aveand head east. Take a left on Stanfordand Johnson Center islocated directly in front of you (as well as a multi- storyparking garage).
PARKING:On Fridayparkingisavailable(forafee) intheparkingstructureaswell as onthe southeast sideof Johnsonfield(atmetersduringtheweekdays). Thereis open parking (no permits required) onSaturday and Sunday.Please do not park in resident parking permit areas, handicapped parking spaces, official vehicle spaces, reserved spaces or bus lanes at anytime. Vehicles parked in these spaces may be ticketed and towed by the University of New Mexico Police or Parking Services.
VENUE:TheLoboInviteisbeingheldwithinthewalledconfinesoftheUniversityofNewMexico SeidlerNatatorium.Restroomfacilitiesarelocatedat thesouthendofthefacility.Thevenue ishandicapaccessible.TheUniversityofNewMexicoprohibitssmokingoruseoftobacco productsonthepooldeck,inthechangingrooms,inspectatorseating,andinallareasusedby swimmersduringthecourseofthismeet.NoglasscontainerswillbeallowedanywhereinsidetheUNMNatatorium.ThetherapypoolintheUNMNatatoriumandotherareasofJohnsonCenterarestrictly“off-limits”toallparticipants,spectators,andofficials duringthemeet.Themeetsafetymarshalwillpatrolalloftheseareas.
FACILITY:The pool is8lanes by50mx 25y pool,equipped with non-turbulent lanelinesand Colorado Timing
Systemwith2,8lane displays used. The waterdepth from1mto5matthestartingend of the pool is
13 feetor greater. At thesouthend ofthe pool,thewater depth from1mto 5mis 3ft 6 inches or greater. The competition coursehas not beencertified in accordance withUSASwimming Rule104.2.2C(4).
SAFETY ISSUE:The3meterdiving platformislocated directly overLane3. Duetotheheight ofthestarting block as well astheheight oftheswimmertherecould beaneed for a lanechange atthe time ofthe event to avoidthe swimmer hittingtheir headif theystand upstraight.The meet refereewill notify the coaches involvedimmediately, decisions made aswell astime givenfora possiblelanechange.
CONDUCT:All swimmers, coaches,parents and spectators are remindedthatwe areguestsof theUniversity of New Mexico.Please berespectfulofthefacility andall thevisitors within. Vandalismtotheproperty will notbe tolerated. If anyone witnesses such behaviorplease report to the Meet DirectororMeet Referee.
LOCKER ROOMS:Useof audio orvisualrecording devices, including cellphoneor PDAcamera is not permittedinlocker rooms,changing areas, or restrooms.
LIABILITY:In grantingthisapproval it isunderstood that USASwimming, Inc., NewMexico Swimming, Inc., Lobo Aquatic Club(andits Boardof Directors),the University ofNew Mexico,all meetsponsors,and allmeet officials shall beheld free fromanyand all liabilities or claims fordamages arising byreason of injuries to anyoneduringthe conduct of this meet,whichincludeswarm-upsessions.
ELIGIBILITY:Opentoall 2014 USA Swimming registeredathletes.All participatingteamsmust signand return,with their entries, the teamregistration formthat atteststoswimmerscurrentUSASwimming registration.
All registrations will be verified.The swimmersageasof June 6, 2014shallbeusedto determine competitionage group.No on deck USA Swimmingregistrations will be accepted.
FORMAT:The Lobo Aquatic ClubInvitational willbea five-sessionmeet. This is a timedfinal longcourse metersmeet consisting ofcompetitioninthe8 & U, 10U, 9-10, 11-12,and 13 and overage groups.
Events will bepreseeded with the exceptionof the400 IM’s, 400Freestyles,800Freestyle, andthe1500Freestyle.These events will requirepositive check-in, fromthe startof warm-upand will close30 minutes prior tothe end of the warm-upsession.
The800and 1500 Freestyles will be swumfastest to slowest,alternatingwomenand men.Men’sandwomen’sheatswithlessthan8swimmersmaybeswamas combinedheats. Only the top 32 entries inthe400,800and1500 Freestylesand 400IMwill be accepted. Coacheswill be notified by phoneor e-mail if anentry inthe 400,800or 1500 freestyle or400IM isnot accepted. Whistlestartswill beused. No RecallFalse Starts will be in effect.
ENTRY LIMIT:This meet will be cappedat450athletes.However, if the total entriesreceivedon anygivendate cause the meetto exceed450swimmers, all entriesreceived thatdaywill be accepted up to a total of
500swimmers. 500Swimmers will beconsidereda “hard cap”for this meet toassure that the meet, is in compliancewith meettimelines asoutlinedin accordance withNewMexicoSwimming Regulation
7.5.1. Any entries above500 will onlybe considered if meet timelines can be met. Anyentries received after thehard cap ismet will be returnedto the submitting team(s).
ENTRIES:Swimmers may swimamaximumof4individual eventsperday.Swimmersmay swiminonlyone agegroup perevent. Swimmers in the800and the1500Freestyle mustprovide acounterfortheir event.

NON-PAYMENT:Ifyour meet entry fees havenot been received bythestartof warm-ups onFriday June 6,2014, yourteam’sswimmers willbe scratchedfrom themeetuntil full payments is receivedby team checkor cashier’s check. Additionally, ifa teamhas not paid, coaches will not receivetheir coachespackets, including heat sheets,until payment ismade.

DECKENTRIES:Deck entries will be accepted onlyif the 450 athlete cap has notbeenmetand thereare heats and lanes available.New heats willNOT becreated for deck entries. Deckentrieswill be acceptedup to
30 minutesprior tothestart ofeachsession. Thechargeis$10.00 per event plussurchargeif the swimmer is not already entered in the meet. Deckentrieswill beplaced into available laneswithout regard toseed times. Swimmers requesting to deck enterMUST show their ORIGINAL 2014 USASwimmingCard. Proof of registration for 2014 swimmers must be by Deck Pass or a legal roster from the clubs’ portal.
WARM-UP:NMS meet warm-upprocedures will befollowed.All swimmers must be under the supervision ofa coach whois registered with USASwimming duringallwarm-upsessions. 10 minute breaksfor additional warm-upafter event#’s 18 and49 will be added within each morning session. For 11&O, swimmers will have access to designated lanes in the Johnson Center pool for warm-up and cool down.
WARM-UPTIMES:Warm-up for Session I will be2:00pm,SessionsII andIVwill be7:00am , SessionsIII and V will be determined after all meet entries arereceivedonMay 22, 2014, andwarm-up start times will be e- mailedtocoaches no later thanMay 30, 2014.

AWARDS:Awards will begiven to 1st,2nd, and 3rdHIGHPOINTwinnersin the 8 &U, 9-10,11-12,13-14,and 15 &Over age groups. Ribbonswill be awardedto the1stthrough8thplacefinishersin individual events for 8U,9-10agegroups. Coachesmust pickup awardsby the conclusionof the meet.
SCORING:10Underswimmers will bescored as8 &Under and 9-10.
11-12 swimmers competinginthe 200Fly,200Breast, andthe 200Back, will bescored relative to their finish with other 11-12 swimmersinthose events.
13& Olderswimmers will bescored as13-14and 15 &Over in events3-4,7-8,29-40,and 61-72.

UNACCOMPANIED

CONCESSIONS:Swimmers andSpectators are welcome and encouragedto bringtheirown food as there will NOT be food sales at the meet. ATeamMerchandise shop will be available for swimequipment andapparelsales.A coaches andmeet official’s hospitality roomwill be available throughout the meet.

SWIMWEAR:102.9.1 SWIMWEAR / Design
A. Swimsuits worn for all 12 & under age group defined competition shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor past the knee.
B. Swimsuits worn for competition must be non-transparent and conform to the current concept of the appropriate.
C. The referee shall have the authority to bar offenders from competition until they comply with the rule.
RECORDING DEVICES:Use of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms.
DECK CHANGES:Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into and out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
TIME STANDARD:Following the NM Rules & Regs 7.3.2.x, All 12&U events for a meet sanctioned as an invitational shall have a minimum qualifying “B” time standard. If a swimmer has achieved qualifying times in at least three events for the meet, the swimmer shall be allowed to enter the maximum number of events for the meet regardless of entry time submitted for those events. The exception of these requirements is for the meet host team swimmers.
