Additional Activities:

-Participated in meeting various meetings with OT and OTA programs on behalf of FOTA

-Participated in teleconferences with board members regarding FOTA business

-Participated in FOTA phone duty rotation throughout the year (until system was compromised)

-Represented FOTA in the state of Florida in a variety of capacities

  • AOTA conference (specifically ASAP meeting)
  • Political Action Meetings protecting FOTA’s interest

Continued goals:

-Continual monitoring of the Myra McDaniel Scholarship Fund with the American Occupational Therapy Foundation

- Continue representing FOTA at National Conferences

- Continue representing FOTA in politics locally and national

- Continue assisting members and education program to strengthen OT profession

-Continue to maintain FOTA’s fidelity adhering to the strategic plan

-Assist with conference 2012

-Discuss strategic plan and the continual implementation

-Discuss and seek approval of increased student involvement

-Discuss reimbursement for representative of FOTA @ AOTA

-Discuss administrative assistant to assist in FOTA business
