When sending lunch money to school with your child, please put it a baggie or envelope with your child's name and room number on it. This will ensure that the money gets in your child's account without problems.
In the next week or so, your child will be bringing a book home in a baggie. Please have your child read the book to you, write down the title of the book on the red reading sheet sent home in Friday’s Folder, and return the book in the bag the next day. Your child will bring a new book home when they return it. Rereading the books at home will help with your child’s reading fluency. In the baggie, you will find a sheet with what your child can do when they come to a tricky word. Encourage them to use those strategies when reading to you. Starting this month, your child could earn a Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut by reading 10 books by November 3rd.
Thank you to the families that are playing the math games with their child. This will help you know what we are doing in math and will help your child practice math skills in a fun way.
Please send in any Box Tops you have as our school earns money for them. We have been able to buy many things such as books and equipment that enriches our students’ education.
