Role Purpose
To offer administrative support to the West Midlands landfill sites, Bio waste contract and personnel based at the Judkins Office.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the Site Manager to achieve business objectives
· Ensure the purchase order process (Proactis) operates as per company policy including the raising of purchase orders for approval and troubleshooting
· Ensure that invoices submitted to site are accurate and sent to head office for processing in a timely fashion
· Ensure that the bio waste contract sub contractors supply accurate and timely information for submission to head office and Warwickshire County Council
· Maintain and monitor spreadsheets associated with the Bio waste contract
· Recording of meeting minutes as and when required
· Submission of time sheets and absence reports
· Maintain near miss spreadsheet and ensure timely submission to SHEQ department
· Manage the office telephone system
· Look after visitors
· Collect, open and distribute post
· Maintain stationary stocks and ensure office equipment is maintained and operational
· Manage the bookings of the site meeting room
· Order and manage lunches required for meetings/training sessions
· Any other duties reasonably requested by others
Qualifications and Experience (preferred)
· Good level of education with good English and Mathematic disciplines
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Experience in purchasing systems

· Good organisational skills
· First class communication skills, written and oral
· Able to work on own initiative
· Confident spokesperson with a good telephone manner
· Numerate and IT literate with the ability to use management information effectively
· Decisive and comfortable with responsibility and able to work within tight deadlines
