SPECIAL NOTES!!!!
GHC SPRING REGISTRANTS ~ PLEASE NOTE
I am postponing the posting of this season’s GHC Choir Contact List until Sunday (or possibly Monday).
I have heard from a couple of people registered for GHC’s current spring season that they didn’t receive their copies of the email that I sent out earlier this week with the subject line “GHC 2016 Spring Registration Confirmation.”
Since I used a new system to send them out I’m concerned that there may be more of you who didn’t get it. If you believe you are registered for this season and haven’t seen an email with that subject line in your email program’s IN folder please check your SPAM, Trash, etc. folders carefully and, if you don’t find it please let me know right away by email to

ADMIN TEAM NOTES
GLORIA
By the time you read this, you should all have your sheet music for this session. Thanks for your patience in picking up the music at the door when you arrive. Now comes the fun part - learning and honing all these wonderful songs and arrangements for our June concerts.
We plan to have tickets available earlier than usual, since there will be a demand for them from all the fans of Ann Mortifee. Many of you have been in the choir when she was our guest artist in the past, and for those who haven’t had that experience - hold on to your hats!
~ Gloria

CHOIR POTLUCKS
There will be potluck gatherings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on each of the following choir nights:
Tuesday March 22.
Thursday March 24
Monday March 28
These potlucks, held every season, are a tradition in the choir that allows us to get to know each other a little better.
Please bring a tasty dish to share and your own plate, cup and cutlery. An ingredients sign would be helpful for those with dietary considerations and perhaps a name label in case someone wants to get your recipe from you.
A great way to connect with members you might normally only see across a crowded room!
All choir members are welcome at all potlucks. Come and enjoy!

A REMINDER TO NEW SINGERS
Stay aware that:
~ Most choir veterans already know many of the Core Repertoire songs that we sing just for the fun of it.
~ They are also more used to the learning process & methods of this choir than you are and will often learn a new song more quickly than someone who is new to that process.
Don’t hesitate to listen first and sing second. We humans are very social animals…when we let the sound in through our ears our voice will naturally want go to where everyone else’s is…it is not a matter of making our voice sing but of allowing it to do so.
Let go of self-judgment. Let yourself flow.
As Denis often says during our New Singer Orientations….”Cut yourself some slack”
