RUBRIC FOR PRIORITY ACTION #6: COMMUNICATION
Action Definition: Implement health communication strategies to inform decision makers and the public about the role of school health programs in promoting health and academic success among young people.
Rationale for Action: Support at both the state and local levels for school health programs increase when a plan is in place to promote the value of school health programs among legislative leaders, state government policy makers, local school leaders, business leaders, parents, students, and other community members. A communication plan fosters communication among partners, increasing the flow of information and resources between the state and local levels.

6.1 Develop and implement an awareness campaign to promote CSHP for local level decision makers.
