eGrant Instructions – Women in Philanthropy

The link for your eGrant application is https://cf-lowcountry.egrant.net

Below you will find a copy of the eGrant Instruction page listed on the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry web site.

If this is your first eGrant submission, you will be prompted to register as a new user. You will receive an automated confirmation email once you have registered your organization. Please keep the email handy, it will contain your user name and password. This registration information will remain in the system for use on subsequent grant requests if you use the same Login and Password.

The eGrant application consists of 3 pages.

1.  The first page is Organizational Information. You must input your “assigned passcode” on the first line. That passcode is WIP18.

·  You must attach a copy of the project budget. The template for this budget can be accessed from the eGrant online application OR the word document that is attached to this email separately.

2.  The second page is Project Information. You must select “Women in Philanthropy” from the drop down box on the first line “Fund to which you are applying”. (Women in Philanthropy is the 5th option on the drop down list). You do NOT need to contact the Vice President for Grantmaking to discuss outcomes!

3.  The third page is the Attachment Page. The first 5 items are REQUIRED:

·  Organizational Budget

·  Internally prepared financial statements

·  Most recent audit for organizations with revenue over $500,000 (If your organization has revenue less than $500,000 you must submit a “Statement of Attestation” signed by your Treasurer (or equivalent) and Board Chair

·  Most recent 990 Tax Form

·  Board List (including names, addresses)

The remaining 4 items on the third page are optional with the exception of directions to the site visit. Women in Philanthropy does not require a site visit at this time. We do encourage you, however, to attach letters of agreements, photos, brochures, etc. that provide information that you feel is relevant to your project which meets the grant theme of: “Addressing Women’s Health, Wellness, and Justice”.

Applications are due by 4:00 PM on Friday January 5, 2018. If you have any questions concerning the eGrant portal, call Debbie Cahoon at Community Foundation of the Lowcountry at 843.681.9100.
