Project Director for National Drug Court Resource Center (NDCRC)

Management level position in a fast paced non-profit national association dedicated to reducing substance abuse, crime and recidivism through education, training, and research findings.

Qualifications:

·  Law Degree or other advanced degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum

·  Experience in criminal/civil justice systems and or substance abuse

·  Presentation, public speaking and platform skills

·  Proficient managing budgets and staff

·  Experience in the development and execution of training programs and technical assistance

·  Public relations and development skills

·  Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

·  Energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented person

·  Excellent writing skills

·  Must be a team player

·  Capable of handling multiple priorities

·  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

·  At least two years or more work experience as a drug court or problem-solving court practitioner

Duties Include:

·  Serve as presenter on select subjects at training programs

·  Assist in the development and/or redesign of training curriculums

·  Liaison with federal partners

·  Manage grantee database

·  Select current and relevant topics for the monthly webinars

·  Monitor the discussion board and approve appropriate topics

·  Serve as site administrator for the webinar account

·  Identify and develop new features to enhance the NDCRC based on the needs of the field and requirements of the federal partners

·  Work with Web development company to design new features for the website

·  Upload various publications, forms, news articles, journals, etc to the website

·  Travel to all training programs. Perform onsite facilitation of training programs.

·  Collect, maintain and review policy and procedure manuals and other materials for the NDCRC website

·  Manage staff related to this project

·  Select, assign and manage consultants (i.e. guest speakers and facilitators) related to this project

·  Create partnerships with other National Drug Court Training and Technical Assistance providers and other related organization/agencies to host their electronic documents on the NDCRC website
