My Winter Holiday

Summary & Reflection: Students really enjoy this activity. They learn to communicate something that happened to all of them to each other.
Students are given the opportunity to think, listen, talk and write often in a meaningful way.

Day 1- Open the Word document, save it, type and center title, Save As in a named folder, insert header with name, class # and Date,

Day 2- Finish the paragraph, proofread spelling and grammar mistakes, insert word art and clip art. Resize and position

Day 3- Open Gaggle, Compose (create) an email, type To: virginiaschinkelroyals@, Subject: My Winter Holiday, Attach a document, send.

Extended lesson: Keyboarding skills Lessons 2 and 3, record scores, open Excel Docs, record scores and average using Autosum, Average.
