TOWN HALL BUILDING NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. WEATHER HAS NOT BEEN COOPERATIVE TO DO AN ASSESSMENT. THE CHEMUNG TOWN HALL SIGN OUT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING WAS BROKEN INTO PIECES DURING A WIND STORM; NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. LANDFILL BENEFITS-OVER 280,000 TONS; THE TOWN OF CHEMUNG WOULD GET PAID $1.65 PER TON.
2. TEP GRANT FOR SIDEWALKS-THERE WILL BE A MEETING AT THE SCHOOL IN THE FUTURE. THE $600,000.00 GRANT CAN ONLY BE USED FOR SIDE WALKS
3. LOCAL LAW #2 OF 1984-TOWN ATTORNEY SAYS THE LAW NEEDS TO BE MORE COMPREHENSIVE.
