The Meeting was called to order by the President, Annette Mohr at 6:40 P.M.

Minutes of Meeting held on Oct. 26, 2015:

The Minutes of the meeting held on Oct. 26 2015 were presented and accepted as read.

Treasurer’s report:

Jody reported that as of Dec. 13, 2015 the balance in the checking account equaled $15,060.07 and the book value of the Vanguard Book value = $55,206.22. Net income for the period 11/1/15 – 12/13/15 = $1,074.63. Large expenditures included the banquet expense and aid to members.

Endowment Committee:

Mary sent a thank you letter to Dr. Herb Burns at Pine Bush Equine, thanking him for his generous assistance to Bonny Lass.

The Scholarship Committee received thank you letters from

Nicole Genatempo, Tomiko McGovern and Jordan Upright.

Host Farms and Show Schedule:

The members of the Board have agreed to approve Saddle River Equestrian in Chestnut Ridge as a host farm. It will host one show in 2016 on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.

Two other Winter dates have been added to our show schedule:

Gardnertown Farm: Jan. 8 – (I believe that the correct date should be Sat. Jan. 9, 2016)

And:

Willow Hill Farm: Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016.

Rule Book:

Jody will revise the Rule Book to reflect the changes adopted at our October meeting.

National PHA:

Jody confirmed that the WHVPHA remits to the National PHA the following membership fees:

Professional members = $35 (out of $50)

Juniors and Amateurs = $15 and $10 respectively (Out of $35).

Database of Email addresses of all members:

Monica reported that David, the programmer for OrgPro, has extracted the email addresses for all WHVPHA members. Terry offered to download the file to Excel.

Banquet:

The banquet was a wonderful success. Mary has booked the Villa Venezia for the same weekend next year, and will sign the contract and give a deposit in January, 2016.

The starting time will be an hour earlier, at 4:00 P.M.

Election of Officers:

Officers were installed at the meeting.

Committee members will retain their positions. This will be reviewed at the February meeting.

Next meeting

The next meeting will be held on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at Denise’s house at 6:30 P.M.

Adjournment:

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P. M. and was followed by our Holiday Party!
