GRAND KNIGHTS MESSAGE

Hello Brothers,

I hope that everyone had a Blessed Easter (Rejoice for HE is Risen) with family and friends and maybe now that Easter is passed maybe we can get on with spring. It has been a long winter and I think everyone is ready for Spring to arrive.

One thing that has made the winter pass quickly is all the Knights activities we have had the past few months. I would like to thank all of the Brother Knights that worked our recent events, we have been very busy of late, 4 fish fries, state bowling tournament, ham bingo, major degree, and we still have the Spring Booya and tootsie roll fund raiser coming up. Please consider volunteering for one of these events, the Booya is our longest event and therefore requires many volunteers and the tootsie roll fundraiser is 3 days, requires many workers is a lot of fun and very rewarding raising money for the mentally challenged. So please consider working one of these events.

Hello Brothers,

TAKE YOUR RETIREMENT QUIZ

Get your pencils sharpened! Here is a short quiz that EVERYONE regardless of age should take.

TrueFalseI NEVER have to worry about running out of money in retirement for any reason.

TrueFalseI know I will NEVER suffer any kind of debilitating injury or sickness forcing me to spend much of my money on health issues.

TrueFalseIf I were to suddenly die, my spouse (and children) would NEVER have to worry financially.

Final Question:My biggest concern is (1) outliving my money; (2) losing my money to health care costs; or

(3) Both 1 and 2

How did you do? Most people answer FALSE to the first three questions and (3) to the last question. It is easy to see why: a long struggling economy coupled with the increased life expectancy (although not always in good health!) create a "perfect storm." More and more, people are outliving their money or are spending it on long term care needs. The Knights of Columbus can help.

SOLUTIONS:

Take advantage of the Knights of Columbus Financial Forecaster program. This popular, FREE and SIMPLE computer based program will take a "snapshot" of your current financial situation and help you create effective strategies to make your money last. People who use this service love it!

Consider a Knights of Columbus IMMEDIATE ANNUITY: an income that you cannot outlive. It takes the uncertainty out of how much money you have left. We do not charge maintenance or annual fees!

Consider Knights of Columbus LONG TERM CARE insurance. The latest statistics show that most seniors over age 65 will need expensive long term care services. Most people are surprised when they find out how INEXPENSIVE our long term care insurance policies are.

Call me for information. As always, you will NEVER be pressured to buy anything or change your current financial plans. I promise to provide you with information you will find useful. What you do with it is up to you.

God bless,
