Update on Dances
Four different groups expressed an interest in hosting the dance
EC, Student Council, ROCAME, and Art Club
These groups will share the profit from the dance
Possibility of school paying for the DJ
Possibly allow for another dance to occur
Clubs/Groups will decide further information about the dance
Update on Fit Club
Dr. Holliday is checking on the liability issues and will get back to us on this matter
Safety & Security Issues
It is not always possible for the office staff to observe everyone coming in the front doors
Students are aware of security issues also
Students have been advised NOT to let strangers into the building
Video cameras at all doors along with a monitoring station will be requested
Use of a mirror or bell at front door suggested so that someone coming in is noticed
Request to replace glass doors on back of school will be made
From 7:45 to 4:00; any visitor must report to the office and then be escorted to and from their destination
Access cards work on blacktop door near cafeteria
(Check yours to be sure it does work.)
Dialogue will continue on January 17 on safety issues
Procedures will continue to be refined
If there is a scenario you can think of, please share it so that we might be best prepared for any situation
Update on Budget requests
New computers for the library
New headphones with microphones for the library
Video surveillance (addressed with safety issues)
Change rear doors from glass (addressed with safety issues)
Kiln
Clean all air vents (work order would be needed for this)
Replace computers & furniture in 23 & 25
IPads
More doc cams
Replace older projectors
Licenses for computers from CFCC (these computers will be used to replace teacher computers once we can get a license for the software to be placed on them)

More printers in general
AC regulation
Draining issue by Trailer 2 (to be turned over to maintenance)
Additional staff for non-EC small group instruction of core subjects (this falls into a different budget area)
General school supplies (not covered under this section of the budget)
If you need supplies, please consider doing the work for one of the PTA mini-grants. Also, please consult with Maureen or Heather, our PTA reps, if you need supplies, so they could share needs with our PTA.
Possibility of “lumping” some items together to get dollar amount higher
Professional Development Days
1/17 – Meeting at 1:30 to discuss safety issues
1/18 – Teacher Workday
1/22 – Common Core; in addition to on-line module, there will be workshops to attend.
