STEAD LANE’S GOT TALENT
Our Stead Lane’s Got Talent winners this year were:
MESSAGE FROM OUR HEADTEACHER
Thank you all for your continued support again this year. All of our children have worked incredibly hard this year and we are very proud of each and every one of them.
To my Year 6 children:- This really does feel like the end of an era for me. You were the last class that I taught here when you were in Nursery and I have so many memories of that time. It will be very strange in September when we come back and you aren’t here, but you are ready to take the next step in your lives.
It really has been a privilege to watch you grow and change and become who you are today.
Work hard and you’ll achieve great things.
Love Mrs Mallin
MILK ORDER
If your child would like milk in September we must have their form completed and returned to school before 3.00pm on Tuesday 19th July (even if your child does not pay for milk). Nursery children do not need to complete a form, they will automatically be given milk.
SCHOOL YEAR END
Our school will close at 3.00pm on Wednesday 20th July 2016 for the summer break. Main school re-opens on Wednesday 7th September at 9.00am (8.00am for Breakfast Club). Our Nursery re-opens on Monday 12th September.
LUNCH MONEY
If any children will be having school lunch next week can parents/carers please pay money on Monday morning so we can finalise our accounts before the end of the school year. Thank you.
LEAVING SCHOOL GROUNDS
Can we please remind parents to leave the school grounds as soon as you have collected your child at 3.00pm. Thank you.
BARRIER FITTED
During the school holidays a barrier will be fitted to our school driveway controlling vehicle access to our school grounds. Taxis and blue badge holders will still be allowed access to the driveway to drop off and collect children at the start and end of the day.
TERM TIME HOLIDAYS
Can we please ask that parents think carefully before booking term time holidays - every school day counts and as few as 19 missed school days over the school year could reduce your child’s chances of success.
