Help Document for Changing Passwords
Generate Account Slips
Account slips can be generated for individual teachers or multiple teachers in the teacher list. Generating
Account Slips will reset the password for the selected teachers and they will only be able to log on with
the password in the account slip. This is a temporary password that will expire upon initial login into
the system.
1. Click the Manage tab.
2. Click the Teachers link to open the Manage Teachers screen.
3. Select whether to generate a PDF only with the account information or send the information via
email.
Note: Select PDF only if you intend to print the slip and give to the teacher.
4. Check the box in the first column to select the teacher for whom to generate an account slip.
5. Click Generate Account Slip to open the Warning Message.
6. Click OK to open the Information window.
7. Click Continue. If an email address does not exist for the selected teachers, a prompt will
display to enter a valid email in the box provided. This is the email used when sending the
account slip. If entering an email address, another window will display requesting confirmation of
the information.
8. Click Continue to open the Warning Message.
9. Click OK to generate the account slip.
If the PDF and Email option was selected,
an email with an attachment named AIMSwebAccountSlip.pdf containing the account slips will
be sent to the entered email address. The teacher will receive a separate email with login
information. The teacher will be prompted to change the temporary password upon initial login
into AIMSweb.
If the PDF option was selected,
an email with an attachment named AIMSwebAccountSlip.pdf containing the account slips will
be sent to the entered email address. The teacher will not receive a separate email with login
information.
10. Click Teachers to return to the Manage Teachers window.
Note: Ensure that is on the approved sender list in the email. If
it is not, the email could be placed in the Spam folder.
