MGMT 4950: FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL
Date:xxxxxx
Group Member Names:xxxxxxxx
Datafile Name: Life Expectancy at Birth
Description:This data was collected by the Measure of America Project which is a part of the Social Science Research Council. The data we selected was for all states, genders, and ages for Americans citizens in the year of 2010. Our goal is to determine which selected independent variables are the best predictors of life expectancy in the United States per state in 2010. Our plan is to divide up each group of over variables (e.g. poverty, education, race/population, health) and then run separate regressions on the group independent variables with the dependent variable. The final step will be to put all the most significant independent variables in one model then run a stepwise test on the data to get the most predictive model.
