Deanna Conn

For more than two decades, Deanna Conn has been helping clients obtain or defend their intellectual property or other commercial interests. Deanna negotiates contracts, intellectual property licenses, supplier distribution agreements, software and online applications, advises regarding the latest internet law and e-commerce developments, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), clickwrap agreements, anti-spamming, online reputation management, trademark and copyright law and data security and privacy advice. Deanna is a member of the Quarles & Brady Intellectual Property Practice Group and Data Privacy and Security Team.

Deanna also specializes in advising direct selling and multi-level marketing (MLM) companies regarding online distributor policies, sales channels, use of trademark, social media, FTC and regulatory compliance, compensation plans, income disclosure statements, and independent contractor and independent sales representative status. Deanna is a member of the Quarles & Brady Direct Selling Industry Team. Quarles has been a long standing supplier member of the Direct Selling Association.

Deanna also litigates cases in federal and state courts involving commercial litigation matters such as breach of contract and partnership disputes, appeals and all areas of intellectual property, including patent, troll defense, trademark, copyright, misappropriation of trade secret, unfair competition, domain name litigation, including AntiCybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) and Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) disputes.
