Along with the red Create button, you can add events to a calendar by clicking on the main calendar view.

Make sure that you are confident in adding events to your calendar and that you are familiar with the various settings available.

Multiple Calendars
Click on the triangle to the right of Other Calendars and click on Browse interesting and subscribe to a couple of calendars.

Click on the triangle to the left of Other Calendars and click on the squares to the left of a calendar to show/hide its events.

A coloured square indicates that the events for that calendar are visible and a white square indicates the events are hidden.

To create a new calendar, click on the ‘gear’ icon and choose Settings then click on Calendars.

You can use this page to manage all your calendars.

Click on the Create New Calendar button.

Type a name and brief description.
Choose if you want to share the calendar with groups (public or GLLM) or specific people (email address).
If sharing, choose the Permission Settings that you want to provide.

Then click on Create calendar.
This will now appear in the My Calendars list.

The triangle icon to the right of a calendar gives a useful pop-up menu.

NB:Now, when creating new eventsyou need to choose which calendar the event should be added to.

Spend some time playing with the calendars and their settings. If sharing a calendar, always check what those other people/groups are able to see or do with your calendar.
