Background: Through the magic of time travel, scientists have brought 21st century technology back to colonial America and have successfully taught America’s Revolutionary War heroes how to use “Facebook.” With this skill literally at their fingertips, these historical figures now have the power to document their experiences of the Revolutionary War through social networking!

For this project, you are going to create complete a Facebook account for the Revolutionary War hero you are assigned using the electronic template. Here is what you need to do:

Step #1:Research Your Revolutionary War Figure.

  • Use the internet links provided in the packet to learn about the life and experiences of the person that you’ve been assigned. Take your time to find out as much as you can. You may also use your textbook and any other library resources (must be found outside of class) to find out more information.

Step #2:Complete The “Timeline” Page

  • Profile picture
  • Information section (left hand column)
  • “Friends” pictures (left hand column)
  • 4-5 “historical” posts: conversation online with 2-3 of your “friends” about the events of your time (middle of the page)
