Sub: ASSESSMENT OF STRUCTURAL SOUNDNESS OF THE EXISTING
FOUR NUMBERS OF LPG STORAGE SPHERES
Sealed tenders are invited from registered contractors with HOCL, Kochi for the
ASSESSMENT OF STRUCTURAL SOUNDNESS OF THE EXISTING FOUR NUMBERS OF LPG STORAGE SPHERES.
Scope of work
Inspection, testing, assessing the structural soundness and certification of the supporting structures, reinforced concrete foundations, subsoil etc. of the four numbers in service LPG Storage Horton Spheres (17.0m dia. 2 Nos. 102-S-003 A, 102-S-003 B an 11.30m dia 2 Nos. 102-S-002 A and B) for 100% hydraulic test.
Payment Terms
· 90% payment will be made as certified by the Engineer-in-Charge on pro-rata basis
· Balance 10% payment will be made after completion of the work and submission of final report.
· All other terms and conditions will be as per our General Conditions of Contract, which is posted on HOC’s website and will be available in the Civil Department.
Completed price bids shall be submitted in the requisite tender box in the office of DGM(P&A), HOCL, Ambalamugal upto 15.00 hrs on 26.11.08.
· Date of commencement of issue of tender documents – 5.11.08
· Time – From 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM on any working day.
· Last date for the issue of tender document – 24.11.08
· Last date/time for submission of tenders 26.11.08 upto 15.00 Hrs.

· Tenders will be opened on 26.11.08 at 16.00hrs in the presence of attending tenderers/authorised representatives of the tenderer. In case the above scheduled date becomes a company holiday, the next working day will be deemed as the due date/opening date.
Note:
This tender aims only for already enlisted contractors with HOCL Kochi Unit. Any new contractor who wishes to empanel for this type of work may submit the credentials as detailed below so that they can be evaluated and pre-qualified and shall be considered for similar future work.
Credentials to be submitted for the pre-qualification:
1. Details of the Organization and the works carried out
2.Work Order copies of the work executed showing the order value for the last 3 years along with completion certificate.
3. Man Power Organization chart.
4. Solvency Certificate from a Nationalized Bank
5. Annual Turn over for the last 3 Years.
6. Income Tax clearance certificate/Balance Sheet & Sales Tax Reg.No.
7. Any other relevant document for enlisting.
