Marking Period 2

A. Lessons 21-30 of SuperWrite Alphabetic Writing System

1. review and reinforcement of principles of theory and abbreviations

2. introduction of more advanced use of theory and abbreviation derivatives

3. spelling

4. reading and writing of lesson letters and reports

5. reading class writing assignments

6. principles of transcription, including letter format, spelling and punctuation

B. Speed building through dictation practice

C.  Dictation and transcription of three-minute timings at 50, 60, 70 words per minute (with 95% accuracy for transcription)

D.  Bulletin Board Project – 1 week

E.  Internet Project – 1 week (if time allows)
