(Suggested yarn - Bernat Baby Jacquards Floral, 90% acrylic, 10% nylon. Sandals can be made with solid color sections or floral color sections for variations)

US #6 DP (4.0 mm) Needles for Anklet

US #8 DP (4.0 mm) Needles for Foot Triangle

Size H/8 (5.0 mm) Crochet Hook

12 Czech Glass E-Beads, 2/0 (optional if adding beads)

#8 (1.5 mm) Crochet Hook (optional if adding beads)

Terms used:

K2tog - Knit 2 together (decrease)

YO - Yarn over (increase)

Bd/K - Bead and knit (see note below)

Ch - Crochet chain stitch

Instructions for Bd/K - Place bead on hook, insert hook into middle of next stitch on left needle, purlwise. Hook that stitch and pull it off needle, keeping yarn taut so that the bead may be slid off hook and onto stitch. Replace stitch on left needle and knit it. If no bead will be added, just knit that stitch.

Instructions for knitting or purling pieces together - Because you may need to adjust the number of rows to fit the foot, you may end up on either the RS or WS. Whether you need to knit or purl does not matter. You want stretch, so sewing together does not work well. Just knit or purl from the needle and pick up stitches at the bottom of the anklet and knit/purl 3 together.
