Soho Theatre is London’s most vibrant venue for new theatre, comedy and cabaret. We occupy a unique and vital place in the British cultural landscape. Our mission is to produce new work, discover and nurture new writers and artists, and target and develop new audiences.

As entrepreneurial as it is innovative, over the last seven years under the joint leadership of Soho's Artistic Director Steve Marmion and Executive Director Mark Godfrey, the charity and social enterprise has almost trebled audiences and produced more work than ever before.

The future vision is to ambitiously expand beyond Dean Street (where we have over 2,000 performances a year) with an additional larger venue beyond central London, a digital and TV presence, as well as a strong national and international touring programme.

Our digital comedy offering launched this summer with the first six episodes of stand-up performances recorded live in our iconic building. Featuring rising star comedians including Joel Dommett, Nish Kumar and Mae Martin as well as Richard Gadd and his award-winning Edinburgh show Monkey See Monkey Do, episodes of the Soho Theatre Live series broadcast across the UK this summer on Comedy Central and will soon be available for download from our website.

Soho Theatre’s 19-show Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme this summer included new plays Half Breed and Wild Bore, as well as the acclaimed Fleabag, Girls, Richard Gadd and RashDash: Two Man Show as part of the British Council Showcase. RashDash has recently completed its successful UK national tour, as has India’s Vir Das with Boarding Das (as part of his world tour).

We have just finished touring Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: Vaudevillians in UK, Half Breed plus comedians Lauren Pattison and Ahir Shah in India and, we have just announced, Fleabag to tour Australia in 2018 with performer Maddie Rice.
