CARRIAGEWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS AT A429 BROADWELL TO HIGH STREET, STOW-0N-THE-WOLD
Dear Sir/Madam,
We will shortly be undertaking carriageway resurfacing works at the above location. The work is programmed to take place between the 9th and 18th June.
The road width and type of works dictate that, to ensure the safety of both the travelling public and our workforce, it will be necessary to close the road to traffic.
The Contractors normal working hours are 07.00 - 19.00 and it should be anticipated that the Road Closure will be in operation between these times, during which time no vehicles will be permitted through the closed section of road, with the exception of the Emergency Services. The full road closure is not for the entire duration of the scheme and will be lifted when working space allows. We will also operate on Sunday 15th and Mon16thJune, night time/morning working(17.00-23.00), outside Tesco’s entrance and A424 junctionOutside of the site working hours the road will be open to normal traffic flows, also if the scheduled work is completed quicker than anticipated on each day, the road will be opened earlier.
Vehicular access will be extremely limited due to the nature of the work and size of machinery to be used. Should you require any assistance with access or egress to your property please speak to the operatives on site who will assist in any way they can. Please allow extra time for any journeys that you need to make.
Both occupiers and drivers are asked to be patient throughout this period of disruption, we will of course make every effort to minimise the inconvenience.
We would further take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your co-operation. Should you have any queries please contact us on 08000 514514.
Please note that parking on the affected road will be prohibited between the hours of 07:30 and 18:30 during the works. Should any vehicles remain on the highway we will of course make every effort to contact the owners, however in order to avoid unnecessary costly delays, any vehicles causing a disruption to the works may be removed by our specialist removal company to a secure area where the vehicles will remain until collected by the owner. Should you find that your vehicle has been removed, please contact us on 08000 514514 where we will explain how to collect your vehicle.
Yours sincerely
