POSTPARTUM–ANTEPARTUM SUPPORT GROUPS / THERAPY
The list below offers information regarding where you may obtain help if you are experiencing extreme sadness, excessive worry, on-going insomnia, have intrusive, fearful thoughts, have thoughts of suicide or homicide, and/or you feel you are loosing touch with the real world, either during pregnancy or postpartum. You are not alone and treatment does work. Sometimes your symptoms will go away on their own, but most often they will not and between 10 – 15% of women experience these problems during or after pregnancy. This list is by no means exhaustive and the Inland Empire Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative and its members are not endorsing any of the resources listed below. We strongly encourage you to discuss any symptoms which you may be feeling with your healthcare provider as soon as possible.
