Assembler Maintenance

Overview / This is the maintenance for the Assembler table. . The Assembler code is one of the keys to the CAT record, so you must build the Assembler table prior to building the CAT records.
Page Access / Assembler Maintenance in Kewill Customs is accessed from the Import Maintenance drop-down menu at the top of the page:

Maintenance page / The Assembler Maintenance page is made up of three parts:
1.  The Search (top of the page)
2.  The Results grid (center of the page)
3.  The Edit section (bottom of the page)
The Search
Step / Action / Comment /
1 / To do search of the Assembler records, enter the Assembler code, Assembler name, Country of Origin code, and/or MID code into the search fields.
To see all records, leave the search fields blank. / The Search is done based on the following options:
·  Assembler code
·  Assembler name
·  Country of Origin
·  Manufacturer’s ID (MID)
2 / Click the Find button. / When you click on the Find button, the results will display in the Results grid below.
Results Grid:
Results Grid / The Results grid shows the results of the search. You can scroll up and down the list using the Scroll Bar at the right. To download the Results list to a CSV formatted file (spreadsheet), click the Download button.
To add a new record, click the Add icon.
To delete a record, highlight the line in the Results grid and click the Delete icon.
When you highlight a record, the detail will display in the Edit area at the bottom of the page.
Edit:
Field Name / Data Entry / Description /
Assembler / Enter the Assembler code. The code can be up to 10 characters. / This is the Assembler code which is the key to the Assembler table. The Assembler code is used to build the CAT records.
Name / Enter the Assembler name. / This is the name of the Assembler. Whenever you enter the Assembler code in Kewill Customs, this name will display for verification.
Country of Origin / Enter the country of origin code for the Assembler. To do a look-up to the Country table, click on the Info icon next to the field. / This is the country of origin for this Assembler.
Related Parties / Click this checkbox if the assembler and the manufacturer are related entities.
Leave the checkbox empty if the parties are not related. / This field indicates whether the parties are related, in a corporate manner.
Manufacturer ID / Enter the Manufacturer’s ID code associated with this Assembler. To do a look-up to the MID table, click on the Info icon next to the field. / This is the Manufacturer's ID associated with this Assembler.
The MID entered will be the default MID in Shipment Processing.
Modified By
Date Updated Time Updated / No data entry allowed. / This information is updated automatically by the system and shows who last added or modified this particular record, as well as the date and time it was last modified.
