First Holy Communion & Reconciliation
Children need to attend all children’s sessions or they will not be ready to receive the Sacraments.
London Colney: All sessions will take place at London Colney from 4pm to 5.45pm on 27th Feb, 19th Mar, 23rd Apr 2016. The Sacrament for recieving First Holy Communion will be on 8th May at London Colney.
Radlett: (downstairs after Mass from 11am) 13th, 20th Mar, 17th, and 24th Apr 2016 – practice session with parents. . The Sacrament for recieving First Holy Communion will be on 1st May at Radlett.

Latin Mass is celebrated at St Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, Vesta Avenue, St Albans, AL1 2PE, every Sunday at 5pm.
There will be a second collection after Mass for the Cafod Fast Day which took place last Friday, 19th February. Any donations made in Lent will be matched by the Government through UK Aid.
Please note: Mass at Radlett on Tuesday will be at the later time of 4.30pm.
Last Chance to pick up Nursery School Self-Assessment forms: If there is any possibility that you might want for your child a place in a Catholic nursery School in September 2016 then you will need to collect a self-assessment form from Deacon Anthony or Fr Kevin after Mass. The forms must be completed and returned by midday, this Monday, 22nd February with a Baptism Certificate.

Cardinal’s Mass of Thanksgiving for the Sacrament of Matrimony at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 14th May 2016 at 3pm.
The Archbishop will be inviting to this Mass all couples in the Diocese who are celebrating their 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2016. If you are celebrating an anniversary, please e-mail or send the parish office the following details: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or telephone number, if no email) by the 7th March 2016, thank you.
There are just six or seven places left on the Pilgrimage to Compostela, led by Fr Kevin, from Monday 18th April to Saturday 23 April; flying to Bilbao and then by coach to Compostela by way of Burgos and Leon. If you would like more information, please speak to Fr Kevin.
Family Fun Race Night on Friday, 4th March 2016 from 7pm onwards (doors open at 6.30pm) at Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School (Colney Heath Lane, St Albans AL4 OTT). Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for students (which includes a Fish & Chips supper) and there is a licensed bar. There will be special children's races taking place during the evening and the winner of each race will win a "Golden" Easter Egg.
