TO APPLY: Please mail your completed Application, with $100.00check, money order, or PayPal (no cash) payable to SWAMPSCOTT YACHT CLUB, to Judy Dawes, SYC/DUES, Two Dilisio Road, Swampscott, MA 01907, or place in the locked Club Mailbox (near the bar). Forms can be found on our website, SwampscottYacht Club.org, or at the Club.You will be notified of the date and time to attend the next Board meetingto introduce yourself (it’s quick and painless!). The Board’s Membership Committee will notify you of its decision within twenty-four hours. No unpaid application will be considered at the meeting.

NEXT: If accepted as a new (“Associate”) Member,please submit a completed Dues Form and full payment of Dues and Porch Assessment by check, money order, or PayPal within seven days. (See online PayPal option.) All memberships are in effect January1,2017through December31,2017 regardless of join date. Second-year (“Regular”) members have voting rights. The Porch was built with membership approval in 2011 and there is no longer any assessment due.

I agreeto abide by the Rules and Bylaws of the Club and to work for the Club's best interests. Vandalism, theft, or misuse of Club property, or conduct detrimental to the Club, will result in immediate termination of membership. I am at least 21years old. I am sponsored by current Regular or Life Members whom I believe to be in good standing. I understand that during the first year of Associate membership (a)I am required to volunteer on one or more Committees and at some Club events and must attend at least four Board of Governors meetings (first Mondays, 7:30p.m., Clubhouse), (b)I will have all privileges of the Club except the right to vote, hold office, or sponsor prospective members, and (c)at the end of the first year my Associate Membership will be reviewed by the Membership Committee for advancement to full (Regular) membership status (SYC Bylaws, Section6).
