I have extensive experience within the yachting and hospitality industry and am keen to work alongside a chief stew to further my skills. Role:Chief Stewardess– I joined the privately owned yacht towards the end of a major refit in Holland. The yacht has covered 3500Nm traveling from Holland to Mallorca, France, Italy and a circumnavigation of Mallorca. Duties vary from cleaning, accounts, provisioning and getting the boat ready for clients. I also cooked for the crew during our chef’s two month holiday. In addition to maintenance and sailing, a high degree of personal and independent working skills are required to create a positive active work environment that ensures the smooth running dynamics of the yacht.

Role:Chief Stewardess- I joined the yacht at the end of a busy yard period and was responsible alongside the chef for setting up the interior including new towels, linen, china, crew uniforms etc. We cruised the Canary Islands for 2 months during which we had new guests every week with less than a 24 hour turnaround. Besides my stewardess duties I took part in the sailing, docking and watch system.

Role:2nd Stewardess – The chief stewardess and I worked close together and shared all responsibilities including service, cabins, laundry, flower arranging and provisioning. We did 6 trips in 2 months cruising Sardinia, Corsica and the Balearics. I was also part of the watch team during crossings.

Role: Cook-Stew/Deck - In the summer I was the part time stewardess and cook, whilst not on Resolute I maintained three yachts between 25’ and 35’ above and below deck. I also catered for many dinner/cocktail parties with up to 25 guests.

During winter I was fulltime cook and stewardess for two busy charter seasons. Being only two crew onboard I have experience with sailing, varnishing and deck work including the basic knots. Role:Stewardess- I was assisting the Chief Stewardess preparing the yacht for charter during the St. Barths Bucket. During the bucket we acted as the committee boat and were therefore hosting cocktail parties and catering for the committee team every day of the race. I was on a rotational schedule so I did service, laundry and cabins.

Role:Stewardess/Nanny – I joined the yacht for a limited period of time to cover an extra work load to normal during a particular guest trip. My duties included service and maintenance of the interior to a very high standard. During one of the charters I also acted as the nanny beside my normal stewardess duties.

Interests

I enjoy most outdoor activities including surfing, wakeboarding, swimming, hiking and camping. Besides that I do a lot of yoga and running. My favorite past time is reading and cooking.
