  • What does the Beyond Care Program provide?

The complete comprehensive training to be licensed as an Assisted Living provider or be trained and certified to work in any facility in the State of Maryland. We are an approved program for the 80 hour manager’s course. We provide development of business plans, quality assurance plans, all policies and procedures and all documentation to pass your paper review for license for Assisted Living, DDA, RSA, NSA Agencies

  • How long does it take to complete?

A person can complete the training in 3 to 5 weeks; But how long it takes you is up to you. We don’t tell you when to come to class; You select the dates and times that fit your schedule. You have Ninety (90) days to complete the course.

  • When are classes held?

At different times during the weekat hours of the day. Each month a new schedule of classes are arranged. Some classes are scheduled in the morning, some in the afternoon, and some in the evening; Classes are scheduled on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and even Holiday classes may be scheduled.

  • Where do classes take place?

Most classes are held at our Liberty Road location in Gwynn Oak, MD. Some training may be in Towson or Timonium or evenP. G. County, and some occasion as requested a licensed facility location. The calendar will always note the location of the class, if not at our Liberty Road location.

  • How much is the Cost?

For Managers of 1-4 Beds and all staff, alternate manager, and managers

  • The Fundamentals course is $695
  • The Med Tech Training is $220
  • The CPR and First Aid $70
  • Infection Control $25

ALL 4 COMPONENTS = $1010

For 5 or beds 80 Hour Manager Course

  • The Basic Course is $995
  • The Med Tech Training is $220
  • The CPR and First Aid $70

ALL 3 COMPONENTS = $1285

If you have CPR/1st Aid or Medication Training, or you are a Registered Nurse or LPN, you will not need to take the Med Tech training, or CPR/1st Aid, unless it is time to renew.

  • How can I get started?

You may contact our office to speak to a program consultant to arrange an appointment to come in to our office to get registered. You may register over the phone if it is more convenient.

  • Do I have to pay all the money at one time?

Most persons pay the full tuition up front. Some persons who are anxious to get started, but do no have the full amount, may speak to the program assistant for possible options available for you to get registered.

  • Can you send me a schedule or calendar?

YES; the calendars are sent to persons registered in the Beyond Care program. Once you are registered, you receive the calendar of classes and other events on a regular basis and by the method you choose (mail, fax, or email). You may also speak to a program assistant to get the date of a particular training to get started. You may visit the website for each month’s calendar

  • Do you help with the paper work?

You will be fully trained in all the documents, policies and procedures you must develop and submit for licensure approval.. You have the option of completing all required documents yourself or you may contract for your documentations to be completed for you.

  • Do you place clients in the facility?

Not as apart of your training package. Our course includes training on how to market your facility to get clients or to connect with an agency that does provide placement services. We do receive request to place individuals and we seek to place them with providers we have assisted in getting license.

Do I have to get the house before I start my training?

NO. It is advised that you start and or complete your training so that you will know what is required of the residence you plan on using. You may use the house you live in or any other property owned or lease. You will need to complete your training so that you are certain that the dwelling meet the requirements of the COMAR regulations. application.
