Porter Wright Announces New Partners

Columbus, OH – March 10, 2005 – Tracey Turnbull (Cleveland), Leo Spellacy (Cleveland), John Monica (Cleveland), Katerina Eftimoff (Columbus), Erin Siegfried (Columbus), Caroline Gentry (Dayton), and Heather Stewart (Washington, D.C.) have been named partners at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, announced Buzz Trafford, managing partner.

Tracey Turnbull practices in complex civil litigation and has experience in both state and federal courts. She focuses on commercial disputes, employment, and product liability litigation. Turnbull received her J.D. cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1996 and her B.A. with honors from Hamilton College in 1991.

Leo Spellacy devotes the majority of his time representing companies in all types of civil litigation in state and federal courts in Ohio. As regional counsel for a number of life insurance companies, he also has defended suicide, death benefit, and bad faith claims in state and federal courts throughout the United States, including Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. Spellacy received his J.D. summa cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall School of Law in 1996. In addition, he received an MPA from Cleveland State University in 1996 and his B.A. from John Carroll University in 1992.

John Monica has 14 years of litigation experience defending national and international products liability claims for Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, he has successfully represented numerous clients in commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Monica received his J.D. with honors from George Washington University in 1991 and his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1987.

Katerina Eftimoff practices in environmental law. She works primarily on Clean Air Act permitting and enforcement matters, in particular, Title V permitting issues. Eftimoff has been active in several Superfund cases and has experience with matters pertaining to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) as well as the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA). She received her J.D. summa cum laude from Capital University Law School in 1994 and her B.S. from The Ohio State University in 1989.

Erin Freund Siegfried practices in the areas of general corporate and securities law. Siegfried represents clients on general corporate matters and business transactions, securities registrations, ongoing federal and state securities reporting and compliance, stock exchange compliance, executive compensation, corporate governance matters, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she has represented clients in venture capital and other private placements of securities. She received her J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1996 and her A.B. from Duke University in 1993.

Caroline Gentry represents clients in a variety of state and federal courts and agencies in commercial litigation disputes, including disputes involving false advertising, intellectual property, ERISA, breach of contract, unfair competition and class actions. She received her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1995 and her B.A. magna cum laude from Kalamazoo College in 1992.

Heather Stewart represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters, as well as government investigations and enforcement actions. A significant portion of her practice is devoted to representing clients in the pharmaceutical and health care sectors. Stewart graduated cum laude with her J.D. in 1996 from University of Michigan Law School and received her B.S. magna cum laude from University of Notre Dame in 1993.
