*Exhibiting at the SCECA Conference gives businesses visibility and marketing opportunities. You will have direct access to over 1500 childcare workers, teachers, directors and administrators from throughout the state of South Carolina.

* You are invited to attend workshops during the Friday and Saturday sessions.

* We will hold an Opening Session with Exhibitors including entertainment and snacks on Thursday night, January 25, 2018. We would like for your booth to be open for business from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.

We have read and fully understand all of the details set forth and agree to abide by all of the exhibit rules and regulations which are part of the contract. Specifications and Rates: Exhibit booth space includes: two 6 ft. draped tables, 2 chairs and a trashcan. An additional fee for electricity is $130.

Tabletop vendor space and state agency space is one draped table and chair. Payment in advance is required. Please make checks out to SCECA.

Application for Space: Applications will be accepted by mail only. Application must be accompanied by check for the full amount of the space reserved. No applications will be considered until receipt of full payment. Spaces are assigned according to the date the contract is received by SCECA and if the space choice is available.

REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be made for cancellations.

Conducting Exhibits: Exhibit space must be manned at all times. Electrical or other mechanical apparatus must be muffled so that noise does not interfere with other exhibitors. Interviews, distribution of literature, samples and detailing should take place inside booths in order to avoid the infringement of the rights and privileges of other exhibitors.

Permission to exhibit or present at a SCECA Conference does not imply endorsement of any product or program.

SCECA reserves the right to deny the privilege of exhibiting or presenting to any person(s) who violate SCECA policy.

Liability and Insurance: Exhibitors agree to protect and hold harmless the SC Early Childhood Association and its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims for damages, suits, etc. by any and all persons which may result on account of injury, loss or damage sustained upon the space occupied by the exhibitor, or on account of machinery and property under the control of an exhibitor, his representative or employees. SCECA will not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage including that by fire or theft, which may occur to an exhibitor or his agents or employees to his property or wares arising from any course whatsoever prior, during or subsequent to the period of exhibition. Each exhibitor by signing an application and contract to exhibit understands that he releases SCECA, its agents or employees from any claims and agrees to indemnify each, against any and all claims from any such loss, injury or damage.

Protection of the building: The Exhibitor shall be fully responsible to pay for any and all damages to the property owned by the Sheraton Hotel and the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, its owners or managers, which result from any act or omission of exhibitor. Exhibitor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless, the Sheraton Hotel and the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, its owners, officers or directors, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates, from any damages or charges resulting from Exhibitor’s use of property. Exhibitor’s liability shall include all losses, costs, damages or expenses arising from, out of or by reason of any accident or bodily injury or other occurrences to any person or persons, including the Exhibitor, its agents, employees, and business invitees which arise from or out of the Exhibitor’s occupancy and use of the Exhibition premises, or any part thereof.

Security and Insurance: SCECA cannot guarantee against loss or damage of any kind but will endeavor to protect Exhibitors by locking the Convention space during the hours that the convention is closed. Exhibitors wishing to insure their materials, goods and/or wares on exhibit against theft, damage by fire or loss of any kinds must do so at their own expense.

Interpretation and Violation: Any points not covered above are subject to settlement by SCECA. Any violation of these rules and regulations by any Exhibitor will void the agreement for booth space and such Exhibitor will forfeit all monies that have been paid. The Conference Chairperson shall have the right to terminate the agreement for booth space and to enter and take possession of the space at the expense of the Exhibitor. Written notice to terminate the agreement for booth space and/or entry is not required.
