Minutes of last AGM

Minutes of the AGM held on 7/11/6 @ Chester le Street RC were circulated and agreed as a true record.

Matters Arising: None

CCDF Briefing: was presented by Debbie Connollyattached

RCDC: to take place 20/1/8 at DARC’s new facility. A discussion took place regarding topics, led by Rob Cree.

A written report from Nathan Adams [WCS] was received by the AGM; Nathan not being present. attached

Phil Tully commented that WCS was not working within satellite clubs, only Tees RC where Nathan was based. Communication between satellite clubs and Nathan was bad. Andrew Bryant noted that he had already been actioned by the NRC Exec to meet with Nathan to discuss problems highlighted.

The Accounts were formally accepted.

Regarding the Junior report, some discussion took place re photography. Clubs are now recommended to include parental permission for photography, including videos for training , on membership application forms. Are the photographers who regularly cover heads and regattas CRB checked?

During discussion of the Coaching Commission report, it was highlighted that candidates who had completed courses were not getting their final assessments done. It was also noted that the ongoing competition review may result in a change in the number of status categories; NEXT SEASON.
