Unit 3-4 Project
El Árbol Genealógico
For this project, you will be presenting your family to the class. I can’t wait to see and learn a lot about your family. Your presentation must be a minimum of 2 minutes and 30 seconds and consists of a Visual aspect and a Presentation/Speech. Your project must include:
Visual:
Your visual must have a minimum of 8 family members. Your visual must be creative and neat, not simply thrown together and done last minute. A boyfriend/girlfriend and a best friend is allowed.
Presentation:
You must present to the class 4 out of the 8 family members on your family tree. You must tell me:
-Who they are to you
-Their name
-Their age
-Where they are from
-Their birthday
-A description of them using 3 adjectives each
Your presentation must be ENTIRELY in Spanish (Yes you’ve been taught how to say all of this in Spanish!). If you do not wish to present your own family you are allowed to create one or use one from a TV show/movie.
Your project will be based off the following items:
- Content – How will did you follow the instructions? Did you include everything needed in your project?
- Visual – Is it creative and neat or simply thrown together last minute?
- Language – Did you speak entirely, mostly, or very little in Spanish?
- Creativity – How creative was your project? Did you put a lot of effort into your project or did you do it last minute?
- Effort – Did you use class time wisely to work on your project, or did you goof off?
Due date: November 15th – 17th
Students will be called at random to present, if your name is called and you are not ready then you are allowed to present the following day for a penalty of 10 points. Failure to present on any of the days will result in a 0.
