FIELD RULES
Both Grass Lawn Park and both Perrigo Park fields have synthetic turf surfaces. There are many benefits to this type of surface. The fields handle rain very well almost eliminating rainouts, and they still play like grass. The new fields also should reduce maintenance and allow us to extend the season of play. However, because of the turf surface there are some new rules that will be strictly enforced. No food is allowed on the field. Sunflower seeds, tobacco products, and gum (some of the traditional treats for players) are NOT ALLOWED on the field or in the dugout.
Please understand and respect these rules. Teams caught violating these rules are subject to forfeiture of league games as well as removal from the league without a refund.
